Things I hate.

Things I hate (a by no means exhaustive list):

– Communists

– Megen Vo

– Howard Stern, when he comes on at six am right in the middle of your morning commute. One minute, the radio’s playing Pink Floyd on probably the only rock station in Cleveland, and the next it’s a creepy 70-year old Jewish man talking about farts with some bimbo porn star.

– When you park in one space for weeks, only to finally get a parking ticket for being too close to a stop sign, which you didn’t even know was illegal.

– When someone parks his car on the side of the street and leaves ten feet on either side, taking up two potential spots.

– Christian rock music.

– Communists.

– Art history (the study of).

– General education requirements. A lame excuse to hold you in school for a full four years when you could learn all you need to know in about two and a half.

– The electric company, which does not have online billing.

– My representative in Congress, Dennis Kucinich.

– 25 mph speed limits.

– Chipotle. Everyone I know likes this restaurant, but all they will serve you is a burrito the size of a dachshund filled mostly with rice.

– Communists.

– The cable company’s abusive service windows. Given that it only ever takes fifteen minutes to hook up cable, you’d think they could nail it down a little better than 8-5 on a weekday.

– The practice of sending thank-you cards.

– Paraguay.

– Paraguayans.

– Telemarketers.

– Emo.

– Work.

– Taxes (preparation).

– Taxes (payment).

– Communists.

– Teenagers.

– Abstract art.

– Communists.

– Olives.

– Communists.

– Jeremy Goren.

Do you have things that you hate? Do not hesitate to add them to the list.
